Job Description

Position: Clerical AssistantHours: 37Employment Type: Temporary OngoingLocation: CF82, 7PGStart Date: ASAPAre you detail-oriented, skilled in word processing, and committed to promoting office efficiency Our client is seeking a Clerical Assistant/Word Processor to join their Administration team. In this crucial role, you will provide clerical and word processingsupport throughout various departments, ensuring the effective operation of the clients service areas.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain systems and processes, ensuring all forms are up-to-date.
  • Create and manage both paper and electronic files/records.
  • Provide management information and validate data as required.
  • Update databases and spreadsheets, covering reception duties when needed.
  • Order and maintain stationery and equipment, performing area index and information checks.
  • Organize, arrange, and take minutes at meetings, assisting across service areas as necessary.
What Were Looking For:
  • 5 GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent; NVQ 2 in Admin or a similar discipline preferred.
  • Proficiency in a variety of IT packages, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in an office environment, with a basic understanding of office systems and machines.
