Part time ledger clerk required for successful business in Yateley for a 6 month contractHybrid working is available (although a Wednesday is required in the office), along with flexibility needed on days around month end.20 hours per weekThe part time Ledger clerk role includes the following tasks Process and post purchase invoices on the system including matching to stock received, batching and coding. To allocate appropriate general ledger coding to invoices without purchase orders. To process employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with the taxVAT and company policy. Entering and updating customer and supplier details on the company software including credit details. UK and international payment runs ensuring all suppliers are paid to agreed terms. Filing - electronically and paper based. Statement reconciliations, investigate and resolve queries. To regularly review outstanding balances on GRNI ensuring any queries are passed to the Ledger Controller. Run the purchase ledger and sales ledger month end and year end process on the system, ensuring the both ledgers are reconciled to the general ledger. Raise sales invoices and credit notes. To chase outstanding customer balances. To run the cashbook month end/year end process on the ERP system, ensuring the cashbook is reconciled to the general ledger.
