We are a successful and growing international engineering and manufacturing company who supply customers worldwide with a range of products from our modern manufacturing Head Office site in Yateley. We can also offer overtime if desired due to our ongoing success.The role would suit candidates with previous manufacturing production or assembly experience within an engineering or similar environment whereby you have gained soldering, cable assembly, mechanical assembly or crimping skills and you can work from a technicaldrawing. Having recruited successfully into our assembly teams during 2022, we now require an additional experienced Manufacturing Assembly Operator due to increased workload and the success of the business.Our teams build the full range of our products within recommended assembly build times and are ensuring the highest level of quality standards throughout the production process.Assemble the constituent parts of the products from PCB level through sub assembly to finished units, following Company engineering drawings. (In-house PCB level assembly is limited with the majority of PCBs being externally supplied).Understand and build to wiring schedules, using appropriate meters, where required, to check assembled work.Highlight any specification or design errors.Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with Quality System procedures and standards within recommended times specified on the ERP system.Raise the appropriate levels of non-conformance reports i.e., Observation Reports and Engineering Change requests.Support other Assembly staff as required, to complete specific activities.Follow all Manufacturing Department administrative procedures and maintain records via the systems provided.Understand and use Company IT resources, i.e. Intranet and ERP system in support of day-to-day activities such as part enquiries and stock searches.The role would suit candidates with proven experience in a manufacturing assembly role ideally with experience of using production equipment such as soldering irons and crimps for cable and mechanical assembly, with any surface mount experience being anadvantage but not essential. You should have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and any ERP system experience is an advantage too.
