Are you a teacher looking for flexible work to fit around your personal commitmentsYou will be working as a Supply Teacher in Primary Schools across South Gloucestershire. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area a number of opportunities have arisen.These opportunities are for day-to-day, short-term or long-term positions, working in EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.The RoleYou will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs. Working for Long-Term Teachers will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher willalso include:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively.
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils inside and outside the classroom
  • Marking and Assessing children’s development and understanding.
  • Adapting any work set to ensure each child accesses the learning.
What is expected of you
  • Hold great curriculum knowledge throughout Primary Age Groups.
  • High expectations for the children and their outcomes.
  • Keen to follow behaviour and safeguarding policies.
