We’re delighted to be helping a well-established and growing company in Yate to double their in-house IT team by hiring their second IT Engineer.You’ll be joining a very experienced IT Engineer to work in a fast-paced innovative environment where your primary role will be to develop, implement and maintain world-class IT systems to assist first responders, medical and other clients to save lives, drive efficiency and save their organisations money.About YouYou’re a strong IT all-rounder.Whatever IT problem there is, you LOVE getting into things and working out a solution.You thrive in an environment that offers varied tasks from:- Computer and router configuration- Windows desktop and server sysadmin and support- Network admin- IT systems config and installation on-site across the UK and Ireland- First and second-line support- Java, Unix based programming, scripting and admin- Travelling away from the Yate office to field support and set up (so this role isn’t for you if you don’t want to be away from home for 1-2 nights each week on average).Your current skills and experience may well include one or some of these technologies also:- Java, JavaScript & jQuery, React- Web framework (Bootstrap, Vaadin)- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL- Modbus, IFM, CanBus.Your addition to the team:Joining as the new IT Engineer, second in the team, you’re a pivotal member of the growing company.Your mindset and can-do attitude will be critical to your success, and your desire to learn will help you as well as the current IT Engineer to really provide a first-class service to the clients and their tech.We look forward to hearing from you soon.
