Job Description

Vehicle Quality Controller / Auditor is required to join a leading service provider in Wyton on a Permanent basis paying a salary in the region of £24,000 per annum.A fantastic opportunity to join a global, family-owned business who are a leading UK provider of integrated products and services for the vehicle remarketing sector specialising in connecting the remarketing chain between manufacturers, fleet operators anddealership for services such as vehicle auctions, inspections, transport and reconditioning.They are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Quality Controller / Auditor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis paying a salary in the region of £24,000 dependant on experience.Working to company processes and manufacturer standards, the successful Vehicle Quality Controller / Auditor will join a team of professionals to complete quality control processes on all work carried out on-site including mechanical, cosmetic and componentlevel.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VEHICLE QUALITY CONTROLLER / AUDITOR:

  • Complete quality control on all work carried out on-site working to rigid regulations and procedures
  • Ensure vehicles meet the standards required for each relevant area
  • Use working knowledge and understanding of repair methods to evaluate successful and unsuccessful repairs
  • Responsible for reaching daily targets for vehicles moving through the refurbishment process and pushing any overdue vehicles through to release
  • Identify any sub-standard repairs and report the findings back to the relevant teams and QC manager
THE IDEAL VEHICLE QUALITY CONTROLLER / AUDITOR:
  • Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of repair methods and what the successful outcome should be
  • An understanding of all the components of a vehicle, both car and commercial.

  • Able to adapt to the ever-changing technology used
  • Able to use your initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively
  • Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of our department
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload
HOURS: 40 hours per week, MondayFriday 8.00am16.30pmPAY: In the region of £24,000 per annum
