Quantity SurveyorRAF Wyton -covering East of England£40-45kThe CompanyOur client has recently been awarded a 7-year contract for the maintenance and improvement of the Defence Built Estate, to include in excess of 20,000 assets. They are a new business, formed to deliver infrastructure, asset, and facilities management services into the UK Defence Sector. They are a 50:50 Joint Venture between 2 already established big players in the FM and Utilities markets with over 55 years experience. They are committed to enabling Defence capability through maintaining and enhancing the built estate in which our Armed Forces live, work and train The roleYou will provide Commercial support to the Regional & Area teams including Value for Money, Risk Management, Account verifications and Tender Management. This is a brand new position due to the high volume of Billable Works in the East region. Key duties: Provide business support to the Commercial Group. This will involve proactively facilitating our relationship with both internal and external customers by ensuring the completion of necessary commercial reports and documentation Ensure contract processes and procedures are adhered to at all times, advising and supporting as required Attend Risk Meetings, review risk registers and follow risk management processes Identify business priorities and to plan work effectively, by building controls and milestones into plans and programmes Obtain commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiation. Manage stakeholders utilising experience to negotiate in line with business goal requirements Management and resolution of queries submitted by Supply Chain regarding Core Services pricing Maintain commercial control to ensure planned milestone payments are achieved, final accounts are closed to meet the business targets Monitor and review Supply Chain performance Ensure Core and Additional Services are priced and managed in line with contract requirements delivering value for money at all times Could this be for youCommercial experience in construction, property maintenance or related field including:
