Whilst the post is based in the UK the post holder will join the DIO Estates-LMS Overseas team and main responsibilities will be delivery of Estates advice across a variety of pan-Overseas "Special" projects. Additionally, part of the role includes a responsibility for internal assurance. This will involve setting up a programme of assurance visits (usually 3 per year) across the Estates-LMS Overseas team to review working practices against established TORs. The MOD real Estate is a wide and varied package including ranges and training areas, historic buildings, listed building, and commercial tenants. The role will also include working on International estate management related projects as directed. You will be acting both as landlord and tenant on our unique estate, so variety is certain! Post LocationsThe post will be based in Wyton and the post holder will also be required to travel to overseas locations from time to time and some visits may involve a duration of several days (usually not longer than a working week at a time) and to a manageable tempo.
