Job Description

We have an exciting new role available with our client based west of Norwich. The role is within sales support and we are looking for candidates with strong administration skills and enjoys cooking.You will need to be a driver as you will be visiting stores to conduct market research using a pool car.The company offer excellent benefits, a friendly and flexible working environment and progression opportunities.The role will involve the following:To support with all general day to day kitchen and office related tasks that need to be performed within the sales department. Also helping to support and assist all members of the Sales Department in the absence of team members when applicable. Work between the main office, NPD kitchen and freezers Help organise and maintain the NPD kitchen Manage freezer by creating a log of incoming/outgoing samples also organising layout & location of samples in freezer using stock rotation Arranging sample collection and deliveries with couriers and team members, create and maintain a database to log a record of all samples sent/received Raising and booking in purchase orders Pack up samples accordingly ensuring the correct product labels are provided Cook and prepare samples for internal sampling/testing panels Maintain notes and records of feedback and photos from sampling sessions Store visits and maintaining a database of competitor/marketplace products Store visits to buy samples requested by the sales team Proof reading/ checking of artworks Assisting with cooking at customer presentations (on site visits supporting account managers) Assisting with presentation documents when required General admin duties in supporting the Sales Team Ad hoc duties as deemed relevant to the role/ departmentMicrosoft suite including Excel, word and Powerpoint (essential)An applicant who has some experience working in a sales and retail environment is preferable but, candidates who are highly organised, have general experience working in a fast-paced environment can also be considered.
