Job Description

Reed are delighted to be working with a fantastic business based in Fakenham who are searching for a Parts & Retail Manager to join them on a full time, permanent basis.This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is keen and driven to embrace the management of the existing Parts team.The role is offering an immediate start or a start date subject to the successful candidates notice period.The working hours are 42.5 hours per week - 8am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday (1 hour lunch). Additional hours as required to include Saturdays and peak times, e.g. Harvest.Role Purpose:You will be reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager and be responsible for the overall efficient running of the Parts department. This will include showroom and goods inward area, its staff and the overall departmental profitability whilst maintaining effectiveand accurate communications between customers and the Parts team.As the Parts Manager, you will act as an integral part of the internal teams, offering support to not only the sales and service departments, but also to some major key accounts, customers and trade partners.Essential Skills/Experience

  • Previous management or supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Experience and good knowledge of Agriculture and/or Horticultural product and parts is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Can remain calm under pressure.
  • Be organised and have the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proactive and methodical in approach to problem solving.
  • Act with discretion when dealing with matters of a confidential nature.
  • Work towards targets and objectives set.
  • Able to work alone and on your own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills.
