NXTGEN are supporting an expanding, privately owned business based West of Norwich in their search for a Management Accountant. The organisation is going through an exciting period of growth with the successful candidate joining a busy and fast paced finance function. As Management Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller to deliver a variety of month end reports, reviewing performance vs plan and a range of KPIs. This diverse role will also see the successful candidate support with VAT returns and statutory fillings for a number of subsidiary businesses.Key responsibilities will include:-- Production of month end management accounts with accompanying KPIs and variance analysis- Balance sheet review- Preparation of budgets and forecasts for stakeholders- Preparation of VAT returns and other statutory submissions as required- Monitor and review general ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity is maintainedThe successful candidate will ideally be a part of fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience in a similar Management Accounts role. Qualified by experience candidates with a background in similar management accounting roles are also encouraged to apply. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to manage both internal and external queries from a variety of stakeholders. Good Excel skills and data analysis skills will also be beneficial within the role.
