Job Description

Brook street is looking for reliable cleaners with a can-do attitude to join an excellent company in Wymondham - (NR18)Due to the location, if you hold a full UK driving license, this would be beneficialSalary: £9.50 per hourHours & Shifts Available:

  • (40 weeks per year) Monday-Friday 6am-2pm & 7am-11am on 17 Saturdays out of the year
  • (40 weeks per year) Monday & Tuesday 830am-12pm, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 830am-1215pm and 830am-12pm on 17 Saturdays out of the year
  • (40 weeks per year) Monday-Friday 830am-2pm and 830am-1215pm on 17 Saturdays of the year
  • (52 weeks per year) Monday-Friday 6am-2pm and 830am-12pm on 17 Saturdays out of the year
  • (40 weeks per year) Monday - Friday 6am-12pm and 830am-12pm on 17 Saturday out of the year

Other Information:An Enhanced DBS Check is required due to the nature of the business you are working in and if you are successful after the interview, then you would need to pay around £40.00 for the Enhanced DBS Check which stays on your file for 1 year.Main Duties:
  • Clean designated areas within the Halls of Residence including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and all white goods contained in the kitchens.
  • Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors and clean stairs.
  • Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators, lampshades as appropriate.
  • Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
  • During the conference season only: Make beds, including stripping and changing sheeting collection of laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry for collection
  • Clean internal and external windows, where applicable.
  • Move free standing furniture as required.
  • Clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, as appropriate.
  • Some level of flexibility (with advance notice) is required, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends.
  • To act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices
