Job Description

Job description Hours: 35 hours per weekSalary and Benefits: £11.48 per hourShift Pattern: Mon-Fri This includes 2 x 30 minutes break daily.Temporary Contract - 12 MonthsYour main duties will include

  • loading and unloading goods from vehicles,
  • Moving consumables and items of mail packed on pallets, Yorkes and Pallys from the unchecked mail area to their designated checked mail lanes,
  • Stacking goods and consumables in the correct storage bays,
  • Checking loads are secure, stacking empty pallets
  • Performing daily equipment checks, for example recharging the trucks battery, checking trucks for damage and conducting forklift truck safety inspection checks.
  • Helping the goods in team to load and unload vehicles where necessary performing other warehouse tasks like taking incoming goods from couriers.
  • Other tasks will include: Printing labels for our production floor teams, using online systems to produce invoices and end of day reports, using MI system to monitor the progress of jobs at all stages, conducting consumables count and updating excel spreadsheet.You will also be required to lease with clients internal and external to build effective relationships using multiple forms of communication
Forklift license is desirable & experience is essential.Potential overtime available during various periods of the yearAdditional benefits:
