Job Description

Electrical Design Engineer | Wymondham | Up to £35,000 | PermanentLangham Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a key client who are looking to grow their Engineering team with the recruitment of an Electrical Engineer.As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for working on electrical testing, commissioning, and design activities.You will get the opportunity to work with cutting edge products and prestigious global client base and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical testing of cable systems and control panels
  • Programming and testing of servodrives
  • Functional testing/validation of safety code/system
  • Fault finding and rectification
  • Creation of design documentation for electrical systems: specifications, cable schedules, block diagrams, Bill of Materials
Essential Requirements:
  • Experience of a variety of electrical systemscontrol panels, cabling systems, servodrives
  • Test and fault-finding experience
  • Electrical design experience
  • Relevant qualification BTEC or HNC qualification
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations qualified
  • Experience with CAN systems
  • Experience with Safety systems (Pilz, Beckhoff)
  • AutoCAD
Salary and Benefits:
  • Salary in the range of £25,000 to £35,000Dependant on experience
