Job Description

An excellent opportunity has been made available for a cleaner to join my busy and expanding client.This role is based in Wymondham and has free parking. They are looking for a candidates on Temporary and Permanent basis. The successful candidate will need to under go a DBS check due to the nature of the work.Pay: £10.60 per hour, including holiday pay Pro rata £9,474 - £11,734 per annum (FTE £17,842 per annum)The roles are during term times plus 5 weeks so you will be working 40 weeks each year.The roles include:

  • Clean classrooms in allocated area, including floors, walls, doors tables and chairs;
  • Clean corridors;
  • Clean toilets.
  • Ensure all areas (communal areas, dormitories, stairwells and corridors) are cleaned within the allocated times to high standard including;
  • Vacuuming, damp mopping, scrubbing and buffing (inc carpet shampooing/deep cleaning during College holidays);
  • Cleaning/dusting all furniture, fixtures and fittings;
  • Cleaning all sanitary fittings;
  • Assist lettings in the preparation of the boarding houses during non-term time for conferences and events.
  • Emptying bins and removing rubbish; taking to allocated point;
  • Check that your area is safe before leaving;
  • Adhere to all cleaning schedules and encourage others to do the same;
  • Ensure cleaning cupboards are kept tidy;
  • Maintaining cleanliness of cloths and mops;
  • Reporting any problems/damages via CISS;
  • Promoting Health & Safety within your area;
  • Undertake any other reasonable duty as may be delegated;
Different shift patterns available
  • Term time plus 5 (40 weeks a year) MondayFriday 06:0014:00 plus 07:0011:00 (17 Saturdays a year paid at 0.5x pay)
