Job Description

Straight Forward Recruitment are pleased to be working with our client, a luxury yacht building company on the edge of the Norfolk Broads.Due to an increasing order book, our client is looking to add additional experiencedGlass Reinforced Plastic and CompositeLaminatorsto its existing team.The main duties of the role are but not limited to:-

  • Mould tool preparation including polishing, waxing, fitting implants and mods
  • Preparing and executing gel coating
  • Laying down e-glass, gluing core and fitting structural elements
  • Reading and interpreting a drawing specification for compositing
  • Ability to safely utilize knowledge of Composite materials, including e-glass, catalyst and resin mixing
  • Finishing, experience of gelcoat repair, sanding and other finishing skills are desirable but not essential
  • Once completed job, clearing, tidying and cleaning of area and focusing on the utmost hygiene and cleanliness
    • As the ideal canidate you will also be:-
  • Time oriented individual with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience within a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team
  • Ability to work well under pressure
