CNC ProgrammerOur prestigious, manufacturing client, based close to Norwich are currently seeking a CNC Programmer to join their a highly reputable company.This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday based in Wroxham.The CNC Programmer/Operator will be a key member of the Joinery / Production team. They will strive to continuously improve processes and procedures while supporting to increase overall joinery efficiency.Key Job Responsibilities:• Responsible for Importing and Programming all CNC products for the Joinery Department.• Responsible for the housekeeping of CNC files.• Ensuring all relevant paperwork is kept up to date including MWL updates.• Proficient in the operation of all machinery in the department.• Any changes to CNC programs to be authorized and noted.• Assist with programming of works and organising all machined parts.• Responsible for sheet material quantities and assembly of components where required.• Always looking for new ways to improve quality and hours where possible.• Responsible for training new staff who join the department.• Responsible for modelling and making of components for 3D printing.• Perform routine machine maintenance.• Maintain tools, optimize machine speeds.• Assist with QI of products/materials entering and leaving the CNC department.• Advocate for Health & Safety awareness, leading by example and ensuring that the department is consistently following H&S requirements.Skills, Qualifications & Experience:• Proficient with 3 Axis CNC.• Experience of machining a wide variety of materials including plywood, hardwood, solid surface and aluminium.• Be able to interpret drawings and convert them to Alpha-CAM.• Excellent Communication Skills.• IT Skills.• Ability to motivate and mentor others.• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Alpha-CAM.• Previous experience within joinery manufacturing.• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent• Able to travel to other sites.• Full driving license valid in the UKFor further details regarding this exciting opportunity please forward a copy of your CV today!Todd Hayes Ltd is an equal opportunities employer.
