Our client a very well-established accountancy practice in Wotton Under Edge are currently recruiting for a Payroll person to join the friendly team and become an integral part of the future plans for the company.Depending on the level of experience the client can be flexible with the role offered in regards to the salary and responsibilities and they are more than happy to tailor the role to suit the right candidate.The role will involve dealing with approx. 120 payroll clients on a monthly basis ranging from Director-only companies through to 80 + employees.Duties:- Managing 100 + payroll clients and associated pension administration- Prepare reports using financial data- Balancing the payroll accounts by dealing with discrepancies- Maintaining payroll guidelines by updating policies & proceduresCandidate Attributes:- At least 2 years experience within a Payroll role or similar- Experience working within an accountancy practice would be ideal however not essential- A full UK driving license is essential- Experience with Sage software highly advantageousSalary - up to £30,000Hours - Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm - 1 hour lunch28 Days holiday (Including bank holidays) - 25 days + 8 after 1 year service
