Working for Kin means youll be part of a collaborative, entrepreneurial and just generally amazing team, what more could you wantWe are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Kin team as a Procurement Manager based between our Support Centre in Worksop and working remotely.As our Procurement Manager youll implement the Kin global sourcing strategy, working in collaboration with the wider team and our colleagues in wilko worldwide. Developing sourcing plans to procure goods and services which represent thebest long-term value for Kin, youll ensure we have the right partnerships in place that will allow Kin in meet its business objectives.Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve developing category product and service expertise through market research and internal analysis, optimising goods and services in conjunction with business technical experts. Along with:

  • Advising and recommending on the appropriate commercial strategy to ensure that services are appropriately sourced.
  • Minimising business risk through appropriate contractual terms; specifications and service level metrics.
  • Ensuring all savings opportunities are exploited to full effect by negotiating commercial, legal and operational requirements, ensuring maximum value and cost down impact on Kin bottom line profit.
  • Developing strong and effective internal relationships to ensure that business requirements are reflected within contractual documentation and in a way that reduces/mitigates Kins exposure to risk.
  • Maintaining effective supplier relationships to ensure that they consistently meet (or preferably exceed) business expectations.
For this role we need someone who has experienced as a raw goods procurement buyer especially in materials such as plastics, has detailed knowledge of the strategic sourcing procurement lifecycle and procurement best practices and able to develop a robustcosting model based on global market insight.
