They offer energy efficient products and services to their customers which help to effectively manage electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power more reliably, efficiently, safelyand sustainably. They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join and lead their team in Worksop.As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the overall responsibility for leading the maintenance team to maintain and repair all equipment. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment within a planned maintenance scheme to meet customer requirementsand drive performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. Must be able to adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures including managing contractors.THE ROLE: Main duties will includeMain duties will include the allocating and prioritising of the workloads of your team (including apprentices)Motivating your team members in order to meet the needs of the departments customersResolving any day-to-day issues that may occurInvolvement in Lean/Cost out and TPM events, administrative duties, including the updating of the Time & Attendance system, conducting performance reviews with your team members and return to work interviews.The successful candidate will have broad knowledge relevant to mechanical manufacturing machinery processes.You will be a great communicator, be able to use your own initiative and be able to organise and prioritise the work of yourself and your team and other departments. Be able to deputise in the absence of the department Team Leader to ensure all necessary stepsare taken to meet production requirements.This is a fast-paced environment, so you will have the ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to show engagement in the companys Values & Philosophies.This is a full-time position, working a 39-hour week, working a rotation of Days and Afters Monday - Friday (Days and Afters)THE CANDIDATE:Required:Excellent IT SkillsONC Mechanical or equivalentMechanical/Maintenance Engineering ApprenticeshipCompetent in mechanical practicesWorking knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsExperience of high-speed automatic assembly equipment.Injection Moulding and Power Press experienceContractor management/supervisionApprentice mentoring/developmentDesired:A working knowledge CMMS.You will be required to motivate personnel to create a high-performance culture.
