Job Description

As a Commercial Data Analyst, your role will be to to provide a comprehensive business focused service, handling and interpreting volume data, contributing to the provision of accurate insight and business understanding across functions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify data set anomalies through practical use of and auditing of multiple systems to ensure data integrity
  • Collate and provide relevant KPI information in a timely manner, showing trends, and generating it in a format that is readily available for key stakeholders
  • Audit and cleanse of new and existing data, coaching colleagues in accurate data input
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify reporting requirements to build, administer and maintain accurate reports necessary for effective business insight and decision making
  • Develop a range of functional dashboards to provide real time information
  • Own manage and deploy specific projects which contribute to the overall business strategy
  • Collaborate with other business functions to ensure appropriate flow of data, accurate and ease of colleague accessibility between varies business systems interfaces
  • Oversee the utilisation and maintenance of IT system(s) as per functional delegation, to ensure ongoing efficient system performance
  • Monitor tickets raised and provide demand analysis to ensure customers receive a responsive service and resourcing decisions can be actively made

What we’re looking for
  • A Level or equivalent
  • Computer savvy; ability to manage high volumes of data in reportable formats and create bespoke analysis to answer specific question
  • Proven administrative ability to include prioritising workload
  • Ability to make fair and accurate decisions in line with policy and procedure
  • Demonstrate track record of implementing process and system improvements
  • Familiarity with data management processes; thinks and builds for sustainable delivery
  • Understanding of subject area sufficient to investigate causes of trends etc
  • Stakeholder management, ability to listen and develop in line with stakeholder requirements
