We supply all the UKs food retailers with everything from Sandwiches, soups and sushi to cookingsauces, pickles and ready meals, and in FY23, we generated revenues of £1.9bn.Our vast direct-to-store (DTS) distribution network, comprising of 17 depots nationwide, enables us to make over 10,400 daily deliveries of our own chilled and frozen produce and that of third parties.Manton 110A major picking depot in Worksop, employing more than 200 colleagues and operating a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. The depot serves major convenience retailers in the region.What youll be doing:We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team based at our Manton110 depot:We are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working Warehouse Team Leader to join our picking depot in Manton110. This role will ensure the site meets its daily performance targets, weekly KPIs and thereby delivers an efficient and effective first class serviceto the customer.Role details:

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Shift Pattern: Sunday to Wednesday ( 4x 10h shifts)
  • Working hours: 20:00 - 06:30
  • Salary: £13.50 per hour
  • Night shift : +£1.15 ( from 22:00 pm to 06:00 am )
  • Sunday : +£4.30
General Responsibilities:
  • Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation to fulfill operational and customer demand, meeting set targets.
  • Train new warehouse operatives within the area of responsibility.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy within the assigned area.
  • Record stock movements accurately.
  • Identify process improvements and make recommendations for change.
  • Resolve any issues or problems occurring in the warehouse; escalate issues to a more senior level when appropriate.
  • Produce regular reports and statistics as required.
  • Review methods to reduce waste.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met, conducting risk assessments.
  • Ensure all lifting and material handling follows manual handling procedures.
  • Maintain high security standards in the warehouse.
  • Ensure staff compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting safe working practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment to enhance operational efficiency.
