Job Description

We are looking to recruit an Operations Support Administrator to work within our busy Logistics Office at Markham Vale.Main duties include:

  • Ensuring Key Control Procedures are followed for all incoming and outgoing trailer/containers; dock door management, directing drivers to the relevant bays and instructing them on site procedures, including Health & Safety.
  • Completion of all Goods In/Out relevant paperwork and ensure drivers leave site with the necessary paperwork correctly completed.
  • Manage delivery documents ensuring they are filed daily and shared with the team in Marden.
  • Liaising with the Inbound Management team in Marden, communicating any issues with delivery/supplier paperwork, incorrect deliveries and any shop floor queries.
  • Liaise with the Customer Care team in all matters relating to customer orders and the dispatch of goods.
  • Act as main point of contact for order collections by local customers. Ensure accurate records are maintained and any issues communicated appropriately.
Experience & skills required:
  • Working within a logistics environment is desirable.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Computer literate with competency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
  • Extremely well organised with focus on customer service.
