Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse OperativeLocation: Unit 6, Echo Way, Wolverhampton West Midlands WV4 6QESalary: £17,846.40Job type: Permanent - 30-hour contract with possible overtime 5 days of 6 hours eachMain Purpose of the Role:To provide and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing goods to the Warehouse/Despatch areas.Use of technology and relevant machinery to ensure effective service delivery to all customers.Key Accountabilities:

  • Load & unload vehicles and Shipping Containers using Pallet trucks, Counterbalance FLT, Flexi - Truck for narrow aisles and Order Pickers
  • Receipt of parcels and pallets arriving in goods in
  • Locate stocks within the racking and update systems as required
  • Inventory/stock check as and when required
  • Pick & pack finished goods, generate shipping labels and update systems with shipping and tracking info
  • Arrange transport of goods to external customers
  • General Housekeeping
  • Comply with Company Health and Safety requirements
