Job Description

Job Title: Systems & Performance Engineer Location: Wolverhampton Salary: Competitive My client, a market leading engineering company who specialise in aerospace and defence are offering the successful candidate a stable and lucrative career within their business. They are currently looking to recruit two Systems & Performance Engineers.Main Duties:

  • Be responsible for interpreting and the technical requirements received from the customer.
  • Managing customers technical requirements for new products.
  • Determine how these are flowed down to suppliers by producing necessary documentation, ensuring the supplier has the correct requirements.
  • Be responsible for producing validation and verification documents, test schedules and procedures, technical reports, test reports, and compliance matrices.
  • Performa analysis
  • Be able to lead technical investigations where issues arise.
  • Prepare technical elements of any responses to Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposals (RFP) that are received from customers.
    • Skills and Experience:
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Aerospace background is desirable
  • An appreciation of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
  • Knowledge of Primary Flight Control Actuation systems is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical equipment performance analysis
  • Familiar with MatLab, Mathcad, Excel and Word
  • Use of DOORS software
  • Must be able to work with detailed information in a logical and organised way
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
