A secondment opportunity from November 2021 until June 2022 has become available with a prestigious West Midlands manufacturing company.Hourly rate of pay £17.03 to £22.00Position Summary:The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will implement and support activities as part of the Supply Chain team to achieve optimal supply cost and delivery performance.Responsibilities: Daily reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader Create purchase orders for runners/repeater production parts Create schedule agreement when and where applicable Management of order books, ensuring continuity of supply Management of inventory through controlling and responding to MRP messages Quickly resolving any issues preventing parts being booked in, including but not exclusive to: import issues, paperwork issues Develop and improve supplier performance and relationships Achieving OTD right first time targets Complete ZTOP and ZOP orders in alignment with manufacturing needs Complete raw material orders from suppliers in a timely manner to support production need Ensure SAP data, including source lists and PIRs, is accurate and up to date Ensure all supplier price increase requests are forwarded to the Commodity Manager. Support cost saving initiatives Resolving invoice queries within an agreed time Understand and work to purchasing company standard OPS1143 Working with SQA to resolve FAIs and quality issues, including returns and quarantined parts Liaise with SIOP to ensure SAP usage Ensure company export and license procedures are adhered to Comply with Environmental, Health and Safety requirements Support the use of ACE tools and methodology as part of our continuous improvement cultureThe above is a selection of responsibilities; there may be other tasks not listed that will be expected to support the changing business needs.Key Skills: Good understanding of supply chain management. Versatile and flexible. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
