Job Description

You will either be a quality manager within an engineering business who has experience of managing a team, or you might be a Quality Supervisor who feels ready to take that next step up.Your focus will be your team, you will have excellent leadership qualities and be looking to work for a business who embrace change and will allow you to come in and put your own stamp on the role.I am working exclusively with this customer so you won’t see this role advertised anywhere else!The company are part of a global business, and even during the last 12 months have remained very stable, they deal with some extremely high-profile clients and quality is at the heart of everything they do.Managing a team of 10, you will work with your team to identify their strengths and weaknesses making sure the right skill is in the right place, you will be excited about the opportunity to develop and redevelop. You will have experience of identifying and recruiting new team members to balance the current team.You will enjoy being hands on in the inspections department and have experience of working with calipers, micrometers, verniers & gauges, and have the ability to calibrate gauges, and have experience of ISO standards and PPAP documentation.So, if you have worked within a managerial capacity within a manufacturing business who produce machined components, have six sigma/lean manufacturing awareness or better still qualifications with a genuine passion for managing a quality department then please get in touch.In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, great working conditions, 34 days holiday and a company pension.
