Job Description

QA Engineer / Developer£28,000 - £38,000Permanent roleWolverhamptonOur client is a pre-launch tech start-up based in the West Midlands, providing business solutions.The business has attracted significant investment funding, and the founders have a track record of building marketing leading software products.Working towards a scheduled launch in the next few months, the team are presently looking for an experienced QA knowledgeable in mobile and PWA software flows, automated end to end testing, cybersecurity with AWS cloud experience.Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in the QA of software, debugging and finalisations.
  • Experience of Manual and automated QA Testing, including the creation of test plans and defect tracking.
  • Able to develop, read code etc. is important
  • Have the ability not only to recognise issues and then be able to recommend changes or solve issues
    • Desirable Skills
  • C# / C++ / ASP.NET / Angular JS / Ionic / AWS serverless, nano-service environments.
  • Cross-Browser & Mobile App testing
  • AWS or similar cloud hosting knowledge.
    • Key Responsibilities
  • Creation of Test Automation suite, adding in new requirements over several phases.
  • Work with 3rd party developers to ensure on-target delivery time frames
  • Assist the development team with unit test creation.
  • Advice on appropriate test strategies to meet business goals.
