Job Description

Psychology Graduate Teaching AssistantHave youcompleted your psychology degree and are you hoping to work as a secondary school teacher before enrolling in a clinical or educational psychology courseWould you be interested in helping students who require special education assistance and are having academic difficulties in a classroom settingIf so, we are able to assist! Working as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students who fall short across the board. Due to their academic struggles, these students are currently finishing low level GCSE exams. You will be responsible to assist these children throughoutthe national curriculum, both one-on-one and in small groups.A portion of these people might also need special education services (SEN), like EBD, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. Working with students who have special educational needs will make up 70% of your work, with the remaining 30% consisting of working ona variety of subjects like English, maths, science, Geography, History, and a Language.The Wolverhampton-based school has received a "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted. The school has become known as one of the most innovative in the local government during the past five years. They offer great assistance to recent graduates who choose to pursuecareers in educational psychology or as teachers.The role will run until July 2024, giving you fantastic experience and knowledge of school life. You will also be provided with online training, valued at £700.
