Product Manager (Fixed Term Contract)Location(s): NDC Warehouse, WV10 6PZ (Hybrid Working Arrangement)Reporting to: Head of CategoryWorking Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm)*This role is a Fixed Term Contract (9-month duration) Brammer Buck & Hickman is Europes leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services, including bearings, mechanical power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, tools and PPE.We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.We are busier than ever helping to keep the wheels of industry turning and we have an exciting opportunity to join our Category and pricing Team in Wolverhampton. This opportunity will provide you with experience in a fast moving, fast growing and dynamicbusiness.As part of our Category Team, you will play a pivotal part of the team, its support function and its success so get ready to be in demand.Key ResponsibilitiesReporting to Head of Category you will be required to liaise with suppliers to gain price support and assist with:Day to day category support: Including Day to day price updates and revalidations, quotation support, EB Samples assistance and order variances & carriage queries with accounts.Core Price File: updating the core items on the system so the prices are kept up to date.Creations: Completing PCFs (Product Creation Form) to create and enrich bulk products from core suppliers and exclusive brands to advertise and manage on the websiteContinuous Improvement: Working with your management team to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce times to improve the service to our customers, working to ensure we are operating to best practices.Supplier Maintenance: Which includes price files updates and data cleansing.EB Maintenance: Working with the supply chain to make sure stock is always available.Technical Tender Support: Sourcing and pricing tenders for machine sector where applicable.Complying Marketing Material: For category promotions.Who and what we are looking forWe welcome your application if you are a confident, motivated individual with the below skills and attributes:- A Team Player- Office Support Experience- Ability to think and act pro-actively- Can prioritise workload and day to day management of tasks- A clear and effective communicator- A positive can-do attitude- Strong deadline management skills- Good attention to detail- Strong Organisational Skills- A Confident user of Excel and Microsoft systems (including Formulas VLookup & pivot table usage)- Confident to manage & maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders- Product Management Experience- not essential but would be advantageous- Marketing Experience - not essential but advantageousWho are we And what are your benefitsBrammer, Buck & Hickman are the most trusted single source of industrial supplies thanks to our national network of branches and commitment to our customers.Due to this success you will receive:
