Job Description

Procurement AdministratorPurchasing DepartmentLocation: Wolverhampton - Hybrid Working ArrangementWorking Hours: 40 Hours Per WeekLine of Report: Purchasing ManagerWe are busier than ever helping to keep the wheels of industry turning and we have an exciting opportunity to join our purchasing team in Wolverhampton as a procurement administrator.We support our customers to ensure they have all the parts, spares and tooling they need to operate as well as working hard to ensure we obtain the best deals with suppliers.This opportunity will give you your first step to getting yourself noticed in a fast moving, fast growing dynamic business and provide you with the skills and opportunities available in the purchasing and procurement department.If you want to develop, are passionate, ambitious and a positive self-starter who is keen to progress and get stuck into this exciting role in which you take your own lead towards your workload and love a challenge, wed love to hear from you!As part of the Procurement Team, you will be a pivotal part of the Purchasing department. Reporting to the purchasing manager you will effectively maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders, take ownership for price support, provide query resolutionand you will be required to complete administrative duties for the Purchasing Department.The Role:

  • To Support in the value creation scope of our core commercial suppliers which includes Working with the Purchasing Manager to ensure that rebate agreements are fully signed and recorded in line with the rebate management process.
  • You will be required to share ideas and continuous improvement to the Purchasing Process.
  • Reconciling Supplier Monthly Spends For the correct and accurate accrual of rebate, where you will be required to ensure our suppliers share the year to date spend and rebate accrual each month.
  • Take Ownership of the Price Support and Rebate Claims Process
  • To manage supplier Scorecard data collection and dissemination. The Purchasing team will implement a supplier scoring matrix (Q2 2022) and multiple data streams will need to be fed into the report to provide insight of the supplier performance. This includesbeing responsible for collating and sharing with the Purchasing Manager and recording these for future review.
  • Query resolution of core suppliers - This May include invoice queries, escalations from the Network Support Team, rebate or price support mis-claims
  • Administration Support to Complete Ad-Hoc daily report packages to be defined by and submitted to the Purchasing Manager.
  • Provide Support to the Purchasing Manager

  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications E.g.- Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Can Demonstrate ability to use Excel including the use of Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups and Sums etc as required for this role
  • Background of Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Logistics desirable but not essential
