Our client is a well-regarded name within the environmental industry providing occupational hygiene services to clients nationwide. They are currently seeking the services of an experienced and knowledgeable Occupational Hygiene/ LEV Engineer based in the Birmingham area. The ideal applicant will hold a BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualification and will be fully conversant in relevant health and safety policies and procedures and will be experienced in carrying out stack/air monitoring duties as well as LEV testing. Holding the P601 LEV certificate will also be advantageous. Applications from Stafford, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Telford and surrounding areas will be considered.Qualifications & Experience:Will hold BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications.Holding the qualification in general Health and Safety (e.g. - NEBOSH Certificate) would be beneficial.A good working knowledge of the relevant disciplines involved.Fully conversant in Health and Safety legislation.Must have strong and effective communication skills.Duties of the Role:Undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments - air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality.Liaising with the companys large client base on a regular basis.Managing the projects/contracts and clients effectively.
