Job Description

Trinity House Group are working with a high growth PE backed services business based in Wolverhampton who are looking for a Management Accountant.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a management accountant to join an ever-growing finance team with their HQ based in Wolverhampton. The role itself will be reporting directly into the CFO who will also help to develop the right candidate as the businessgrowsJob Type: Full time PermanentSalary: £40,000 -£50,000 per year (Part/Full Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate)

  • Prepare the group consolidated accounts & support with the subsidary management accounts
  • Analysis of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Month and year end journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll Postings
  • VAT/PAYE Returns
  • Maintain and reconcile all monetary bank accounts , petty cash and credit cards
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting pack with analysis of variances
  • Assist in the preparation of audit files and liaise with audit team on relevant topics for your role
  • Maintain intercompany loan accounts
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist the FD in key decision making
  • Support the FD in budgeting and forecasting.
The Candidate
  • Be a part or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of producing management accounts
  • Have strong technical accounting skills
  • Have strong system skills, especially in MS Excel. Knowledge of Navison/Dyanmics 365 would also be an advantage
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Be capable of working on your own initiative
  • Being able to be a true BP to the FD.
