Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer ( Steel Processing)Location: WolverhamptonSalary: Up to c£41,000 (£25000 - £34000 Plus 18% shift allowance)Shifts: Rotating 3 shifts - 37.5 hours (No Friday Nights)Overtime: AvailableBenefits: 35 days holidays per annumAnnual Pay ReviewAnnual Bonus Scheme - subject to business performanceOne of the UKs leading defined contribution pension schemes (10% employer contribution / 6% employee contribution)Many Lifestyle benefitsThe Role: As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will by performing necessary breakdown repairs, leading preventative maintenance activity and facilitating the promotion of engineering solutions for process improvement to ensure process availability and productivity are optimised. You will be required to carry out all your tasks independently so having the ability to work without close supervision, yet under pressure and to tight timescales is essential.All Electrical Maintenance Engineers will be expected to work a 3 shift- rotating pattern (Monday to Friday) with cover at the weekend when needed.Duties and responsibilities:Maintain and repair processing machinery and ancillary equipment in a safe and productive manner in order to maximise availability at optimum cost.Adhere to the preventative maintenance programmes to ensure that unplanned downtime is avoided.Through our system ensure engineering spares and inventory on site are managed within budget constraints and equipment downtime is minimised.Facilitate optimal performance by working flexibly undertaking maintenance at short notice.To be able to diagnose and fault find on PLCs, drives and AC/DC controllers resolving the problem where possible.Some knowledge of pneumatics & hydraulics is preferredBe qualified to ONC or City & Guilds or have the depth of experience required in the Steel processing industry.Your CV will be forwarded to Jonathan Lee Recruitment, a leading engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy established in 1978.
