Job Description

Are you a fully qualified AAT accountant Part Qualified or Qualified by ExperienceOur client is a well-known, respected, and trusted chartered accountancy practice in the heart of Wolverhampton. Due to a sustained period of growth and an influx of client’s onboarding they are recruiting for an accountant.They have the organisational flexibility to fit YOU into their incredible Wolverhampton based chartered accountancy firm.This is a fantastic chance to work as part of a professional team, with a family business culture offering a real platform for personal development and growth.In return you will be responsible for;

  • The preparation of statutory accounts for SME businesses - based on FRS105 or FRS102 (1A)
  • Manage preparation of final accounts for partnerships and sole traders.
  • Maintaining schedules of final accounts - ensuring compliance with deadlines
  • Identifying and implementing changes to enhance quality and timeliness of reporting.
  • Preparation of corporate tax returns for limited companies
Key Skills
  • AAT Qualified/ Part Qualified or Qualified by experience.
  • Working knowledge and experience of computerised book keeping packages such as SAGE, Xero or Quickbooks.
  • Experience of working in a practice environment.
