Job Description

Job Title: Subject Access Requests AdministratorPay: £12.45 per hourLocation: Guildford, GU21 5BHShift Pattern: Monday- Friday (22.5 hours a week)Trust Location: Central Surrey Health LimitedRoles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all Subject Access Requests (SARs) and similar information requests and enquiries are dealt with in an efficient, polite, and confidential manner and passed on to the relevant managers for action. Ensure correct SAR procedures are adhered towithin own practice and by the responsible service managers responding to the requests.
  • Answer complex queries from the service managers, related to SARs and redaction.
  • Carry out all redactions using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ensure that any information that is redacted as necessary prior to disclosure is in accordance with current legislation, including any 3rd party information documented in the medical records where it is not possible to obtain consent of the 3rd party.
  • Where the timescales are unable to be achieved, ensuring that any extension of this is communicated prior to the 30 days to the applicant giving the reason for the delay and anticipated timescale
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience as an administrator or similar role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, printer, scanner)
