Small, established but expanding IT solution provider seeks an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior IT Support Technician (3rd Line support) to join the team. We specialize in providing IT support services to the education sector and SMBs across Surrey andGreater London. The successful candidate must be experienced in IT support at 3rd Line level and will be required to provide support for a wide range of technologies, including networking, cloud services, hardware and software and help lead a team of technicians.The Role:The role requires daily travel to customer sites, however occasional home working to provide remote support to customers using remote login software and travel to other surrounding areas is also expected. A full UK driving license is essential.A typical day would include working onsite at different customers premises maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting all areas of their IT infrastructure proactively and responding to support tickets.Skills:The successful candidate must have excellent troubleshooting skills, with expertise in administering Active Directory Domains/Group Policy and Microsoft 365, with strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.They must be willing to travel between client sites, manage their time well and demonstrate excellent communication skills. They must be able to work to deadlines, either independently, or working alongside and leading a small team of technicians. They mustbe confident working directly with clients and have strong problem-solving and organization skills.Expertise in administering the following technologies will be advantageous.
