Job Description

Do you work in practice and are working long hours every week, would you like a role where you could work 35 hours a week and still develop your career.... then read on.Ad Idem are working exclusively with a Globally reknowned business based near Woking, the business is expanding their Audit team and are keen to find a new Senior Internal Auditor to join their team.The key responsibilities for this Senior Internal Audit role will include:

  • Work with the Audit Director to build the Audit plan
  • Execute operational, financial and system based Audits.
  • Assist in the development of the business’s annual audit plan.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and management to develop their areas from improvements gained via audit outcomes.
  • Monitor the implementation of recommendations and re-test where necessary.
  • Assist in the gathering of information for the risk register and where applicable provide analysis.
  • Provide insight to update and ensure policies are meeting current regulations.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks when required.
    • Your key skills for this Senior Internal Auditor role will be;
  • Qualified Accountant either ACA, ACCA, CIA or CIPFA
  • Ideally practice trained with commercial experience, but will also look at Newly Qualified Accountants looking to move out of practice.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and results driven
