Job Description

Robert Half is working with a market-leading Oil and Gas organisation that is looking to recruit an infrastructure Infrastructure Analyst on a 3-month contract basis in their Surrey office.Role:The infrastructure analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining, analyzing, and optimising our organisations IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems, networks, and servers.

  • Support all IT software, hardware, and communication infrastructure within the department or via SLA.
  • Provide support for:
    • Microsoft Servers/VMWare
    • Desktop and server applications
    • Fixed, Wireless and Mobile communications
  • Provide remote support for mobile and support users
  • Plan and implement backup regulations in order to provide a sound basis for data and system recovery.
  • Document, plan and test server disaster recovery and carry out data and system recovery
Profile:The Infrastructure Analyst should have the following:
  • Proven experience as an Infrastructure Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong experience of server administration, network protocols, and IT systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing potential infrastructure challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
