Job Description

Robert Walters have partnered with a people centric and acquisitive organisation based in Woking, who are looking for an ambitious Finance Business Partner to join on a permanent basis. This role will act as a key business partner to several high profileindividuals across the group (non-finance), so a confident approach to stakeholder engagement is essential.Key responsibilities:

  • Analyse financial and non-financial data to create actionable insight regarding profitability across the group.
  • Support FP&A team in the preparation and delivery of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Assist in developing reporting, forecasting and budget models, including regular KPI reporting.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly management accounts, working with non-finance stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
  • Work with the SLT to carry out research to identify opportunities to grow revenue and profit.
  • Provide analysis to support key business decisions, and prepare information/commentary for strategic presentations.
  • Prepare in depth models, preparing return on investment and cash payback analysis
  • Build key stakeholder relationships and communicate frequently with select senior leaders to ensure costs are tracked and data is accurate.
Experience required:
  • At least 3 years experience working within fast paced finance environments.
  • Strong business partnering experience, with the confidence and ability to partner independently with Head of/Director level colleagues.
  • Excellent Excel skills are essential, and any financial modelling experience would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in building forecasts and business plans from scratch.
  • Posses the ability to communicate complex financial analysis to non-finance stakeholders.
