Long term work with permanent opportunityCompetitive rate with great overtime premiumsProfessional development + free parkingWe are seeking an experienced Production Planner for our Automotive based customer in the Aston area. ALL applicants must have experience with ERP and SAP systems.Responsibilities for the Planner include;1. Final assembly scheduling2. Control finished axle stock levels, coordinating, and communicating information3. Machine Shop Scheduling, coordinated to assembly requirements4. Customer liaison and planning of dispatches5. Monitoring and ensuring availability of customer packaging6. Oversee EDI communications including the issue of Customer ASNs7. Supervise the production receiving of finished axles into stock ensuring stock is booked ready for shipping8. Issuing of dispatch paperwork with appropriate transactions9. Creation of short-term sales forecasts and medium-term capacity planning (with Production Management) using customer schedules10. Manage performance measures from the end customer, tracking company scores and responding to issues as raised11. To work within a team environment, applying continuous improvement and DOS lean methodology wherever possible.You must come with the following attributes to apply for the Production Planner vacancy:1. Supply chain / automotive experience2. Ability to work under pressure / Just In Time scenarios3. Able to problem solve4. Comfortable in using SAP/ similar stock management platforms to an intermediate level5.
