Excellent temp-to-perm opportunity in Aston areaThree day weekendFree parking with pay rate progressionSeeking an experienced CNC Operator for a leading manufacturer of timber and chipboard door frames and shop fittings. You would be running a number of different moulding machines, which will mill the correct design and placement of hinges locks and windows.Initially you will be trained as an operator of various CNC machines, including wood planers, saws and millers. However in due course you will be taught how to part-setting and basic machine maintenance.In simple terms this role would lend itself to somebody with a background in wood manufacturing/ carpentry, spindle moulders etc. However we will consider people from a background in automotive / metalwork if you have transferrable skills.The main duties of the CNC Operator are as follows;- Operating machines they are working correctly- Loading and unloading with large wooden beams- Conducting regular quality checks ensuring conformance paperworkKey attributes of candidates must include;- Ability to demonstrate experience as a CNC Operator/ Machinist, ideally handling wood-based products- Understanding of basic technical drawings and hand tools (e.g. glue guns/ nail guns/ staple guns)- Ability to work as part of a motivated manufacturing teamPay rate: £10.50- £10.75 per hour with considerable night shift available in the futureHours of work: Fixed 0730-1700 Monday to ThursdayIf you are interested in our CNC Operator job, please click to apply or email .
