About the roleAs Logistics Controller you will organise and communicate the day to day Logistics activitiesIn the role you will create and proactively communicate Accrols inbound and outbound logistics plans, ensuring maximum efficiencies are met within the warehousing environments. You will do this whilst ensuring safety remains our number one priority through actions and behaviours.Communicating loading plans to enable efficient and robust picking and loading across multiple locations, and supporting the on-site coordination of hauliers, safety (Site Rules), meet and greet, bay allocations. You will also coordinate the use of stand trailers and organise the shunting operators workload.We have two opportunities available, one based in Leyland and one in Blackburn.About youWe are looking for someone who has experience, ideally gained within a logistics/planning role in a multisite warehouse environment.Safety and customer focused with planning knowledge and a high attention to detail, you’ll be computer literate in all IT packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, WMS & NetSuiteWith knowledge of the End-to-End warehouse and logistics processes, both Inbound and Outbound, and able to problem solve and take decisions as appropriate, you will be a self-starter and bring with you an excellent enthusiasm and personal drive.About usEstablished in 1993, Accrol Group is the UK’s leading independent tissue converter, producing private label toilet roll, kitchen roll and facial tissue products for most of the UK’s major grocery retailers.
