Atrium Healthcare are recruiting on behalf of a client for Registered Manager/ Trainee Registered Manager - Adult Care. You will provide leadership, ensuring that the promotion and provision of care is delivered to the residents is at the highest standard,maximising the individuals potential and promoting recovery and independence. The role is responsible for ensuring that the home is fully compliant and promotes a caring and effective workplace.Main responsibilities and duties of the job:· To ensure a high-quality service is delivered and maintained effectively in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations. · To support the staff to have the skills, knowledge and ability to undertake their roles. · Work within organisational policy and procedure established in the home. · Ensure that all staff are made aware of the Therapeutic community strategies to work with young people and vulnerable adults in care. · Ensure that residents reviews and meetings are delivered within the required time scales. · Ensure both local authority and internal care and placement plans are in place and that staff fully understand their role. · Take the lead in ensuring an open culture is created, one in which residents can complain and that they are listened to. · Undertake and participate in any training programmes which are relevant to the employment of staff working in residents services, paying particular regard to residential care. · Ensure staff are aware of and deliver the support required to ensure the life chance opportunities of the young people for their social, educational, leisure, emotional, physical, and cultural needs are met. · Produce, coordinate and edit reports. · To contribute to the on-call system. · Be involved in the staff safer recruitment process.Essential:· Previous experience of working in a similar environment. · Knowledge of leading a team and working within a multidisciplinary team. · Previous experience of working as a service manager. · Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support needs. · Managing budgets. · Working in a supervisory capacity. · Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Social Care (Not essential but must be willing to undertake) · Must hold a full clean UK driving license.Hours of work:40 hours per week and any other additional hours to fulfil your job role.Salary:£35,000 plus performance and inspection bonuses.Benefits include:· A competitive salary. · Access to a wealth of training and learning opportunities including the opportunity to enhance your professional development through funded courses. · Access to multiple wellbeing initiatives. · A free counselling service to all our employees.If this sounds like a role that would suit you, do not hesitate to apply.For more information, please get in touch with Vicky on .Atrium is an equal opportunity employer, and all hiring decisions are subject to international and local employment laws and regulations.
