Excellent role on offer for an experienced HGV / Vehicle Technician who is looking to work on HGVs for a well-established, market leading distribution company where you will work within a good team and be well looked after.Do you have experience of servicing and maintaining specialist vehicles Are you looking to work for a company that are well known to look after their staff whilst working within a stable market place despite the current crisisEstablished for over 90 years this well-known and highly regarded distribution and storage company are looking to expand and grow their close knit team and recruit a HGV Technician. They have an excellent reputation to looking after their staff and have a very loyal and long standing workforce.You will be required to service and repair the companys fleet of vehicles and trailers in line with planned maintenance schedules as well as preparing vehicles for annual MOT testing such as investigating and rectifying vehicle defects.This role would ideally suit a HGV Technician who has worked on commercial vehicles or similar who is looking to join a stable, well established company whilst being well looked after by a well renowned organisation.Ex-Forces / REME personnel with experience of LGV / HGV / specialist vehicles are encouraged to apply for this role.The Role;· Service and repair of the companys fleet of vehicles and trailers. · Investigate and rectify vehicle defects.· Work in line with planned maintenance schedules.· Working Monday to Friday with a rota to cover 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (Paid at Overtime rates).· Guaranteed Overtime + Callout Rates. · £35,000 + Lots of Overtime + Call Out + Benefits.The Person;· HGV Technician / REME Technician. · Ideally have experience of Fleet services.· Must be looking for a long term opportunity. · Must have an excellent work ethic. · Must have good communication skills.
