Summary In 2022, Peckover House and Garden opened the first National Trust meeting space where people living with dementia, their families, and carers, can come together and share experiences, gain new skills, and take a break from caring responsibilities. Thisnew service, Damsons, was achieved thanks to a two-year EU funded MONUMENT pilot project and currently offers twice-weekly sessions in the newly renovated Reed Barn.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to own the next phase of this project to establish and grow this offer for local people and secure its future. Youll have a passion for providing access to nature and heritage for everyone,and be confident working with and through others to achieve this. What its like to work here Youll report to a Consultancy Manager and work with a diverse team of operational staff, volunteers, regional and national specialists, as well as external partners and funders. Youll be based at Peckover, with hybrid-working enabling you to balance yourwork days between home and the property. What youll be doing Youll manage and work alongside the Senior Programming and Partnerships Officer to embed the operational delivery of Damsons and look for ways to continually improve the experience for participants.Through excellent networking and partnership management, youll engage the local community and develop relationships with groups and agencies to promote and support access to the service.Working strategically, youll identify and engage with partners, service providers and funders to explore a range of options that will establish a sustainable operating model for Damsons, safeguarding its future and enabling more people to benefit from theservice long-term.As Project Manager you will lead a collaborative project team, and report to the Board, coordinating all elements of the ongoing implementation and evaluation of the project.
