Working on behalf of one of our food manufacturing clients, we are seeking permanent Machine Operatives to work on day shift. This is an exciting time to join the company as there is progression and further training opportunities for candidates who are willingto work hard. Start: ASAP Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire Day Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9.30pm - 6am Hourly Rate: £11.05 per hour + night shift premium Overtime: Paid at 1.25% Duration: Permanent Benefits: 20 days holiday, Pension Scheme, Onsite Parking, Shopping discounts, Health cash back scheme, Counselling & Financial wellbeing support, Loyalty awards and company events Ideally, youd have experience of operating machinery within the food industry, however training & support will be provided. Duties will include: - Operating all packing machinery including Multihead Weighers, VFF baggers, tray sealers and check weighers - Quality control checks on products - Completion of all paperwork accurately and on time - Liaise with the despatch team to reduce waste - Liaise with the flume & mixing teams to ensure all materials are ready for the production lines - Adhere to all health & safety policies - Liaise with the Engineering team if there are any machine break downs Skills, Qualifications, and experience required: - Previous experience working with fresh produce desired - Must be a team player - Desire to learn - Can do attitude - Ability to maintain focus - Strong and written and spoken English with the ability to understand health and safety instructionsIf you have not received a response within 3-5 working days, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
