Job Description

At Adaptable recruitment we have a great opportunity for an International Sales Officer to join an expanding manufacturing company in the Wirral area Salary: Up to £25,000 depending on experience English & at least one other European language, preference French or Italian is desirable.Main Responsibilities to include:

  • Work with the sales team for International and export enquiries / orders.
  • Upload on SAP UK and SAP France the international sales quotation using already established price lists or following specific instructions sent by email.
  • Follow-up quotes raised, keeping an electronic log showing update to progress of the quote and also monitoring quote conversion rates and detailing reason why quotes have not been successful.
  • Point of contact for international customers in the absence of the Sales Director.
  • Launching successful sales quotations into sales orders and forward them to the production and logistic department
  • Organising any payments required by international customers.
  • Cooperate with the instructed marketing dpt. receiving messenger enquires and reply.
  • Placing orders with suppliers for marketing materials such as t-shirts, polos and others.
The ideal Candidate:
  • Exercise considerable initiative/judgement in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements/goals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of activities at the same time
  • Able to work cross functionally and collaboratively with different departments.
  • Excellent IT skills, Proficient MS Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to plan and execute solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Attention to detail.
