Job Description

As a Payroll Team Leader, your role will involve managing and overseeing payroll processes for a large team within the Professional Services sector. You will ensure accurate and timely payroll operations, whilst providing leadership and support to your team.Client DetailsOur client is a leading figure in the Professional Services sector, boasting a substantial workforce.   • Oversee daily payroll operations and ensure compliance with company and statutory regulations.
  • Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and consult with upper management regarding improvements to payroll.
  • Resolve any payroll discrepancies and respond to payroll related queries promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with HR and Accounting teams to ensure accurate processing of payroll changes.
  • Generate payroll reports for management, finance department, and auditors.
  • Stay updated on the latest payroll trends, technology, and legislation.
  • Manage the year-end payroll reconciliation and provide data for audits.
  • End to end Payroll duties.
ProfileA successful Payroller should have:
  • Proven experience in a payroll role within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and payroll best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
