Job Description

HR Manager - Legal FirmPermanent/Full Time£35,000 - £45,000paWe are recruiting for an experienced HR Manager to join our client, a dedicated law firm with offices in Liverpool and Wirral with a fantastic work ethic and culture, renowned for rewarding our employees with an excellent bonus scheme, benefits, supportand career progression and value eachand every individual who works with us.They have an outstanding team of highly skilled Solicitors who are renowned for theirexpertise in Personal Injury, Data Breach, Medical Negligence and catastrophicevents.With over 150 valued colleagues working within our business and an expectation of further significant growth we are now looking for an experienced and highly organised HR manager with a track record of working within their own managed environment, operatingto a fast paced and cost driven method to join our senior management team.As a result of rapid recent growth of the business we need to establish improved HR processes in a number of areas to promote the development of colleagues and their contribution to the future success of the business.Responsibilities

  • Develop new HR disciplines and process improvements across the business
  • Provide guidance and lead on performance management/improvement processes
  • Support and deliver the firms initiatives, working closely with key stakeholders
  • Managing appraisal and salary review processes
  • Manage induction, holiday, sickness and flexible working processes
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional HR experience is required
  • Ideally 3 years working within their own managed environment
  • Experience within a Law Firm or Legal services entity is high desirable
  • CIPD level 5 qualification desirable
  • Experience of UK employment law
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical behaviour
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Will have a flexible, supportive and positive approach
  • Be able to build relationships on all levels
